PARACHUTE is a pan-Canadian survey series looking to document current issues and concerns within the profession impacting educator retention and recruitment.    

Stop violence in schools

Aggression and violence in the classroom are rising dramatically across the country.  

86% of Canadians expressed their concern about the escalating levels of violence in public schools (Source: Abacus Data, January 2024). 

We can make classrooms safer by improving Canadian law. The current laws that protect students and teachers are imperfect and need to be updated.
