2023 Teacher Collective Bargaining Conference
The 2023 CTF/FCE Teacher Collective Bargaining Conference (TCBC), co-hosted by the Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers (QPAT), takes place June 4–6 in Montreal.
With upwards of 100 colleagues from every province and territory in Canada, this conference is designed for bargaining staff and lead negotiators, human resource professionals, strategic communicators, researchers, and subject matter experts from CTF/FCE Member, Associate, and Partner Organizations.
Aiming to build bargaining power in the face of an ever-challenging environment, the theme “Key Bargaining Issues of Our Time” sets the stage to deepen and broaden perspectives by exploring the following key topics:
- Preparing for arbitration
- Countering legislative interference
- Diversity and equity at the table
- Teacher shortage
- Workload and mental health
- Strategic communication in support of bargaining
- Learning methods and teacher working conditions
We hope that many of you will be able to attend and benefit from insights, learning opportunities, networking with colleagues, and building valuable relationships, all needed to support CTF/FCE organizations, the teaching profession, and, most importantly, publicly funded public education.
We look forward to welcoming you to Montreal in June!
